sweet love: mini s'more cakes

Continuing on from the delicious diy s'more dessert bar, here is a very yummy mini s'more cake. I love the toasted marshmallow icing.

éclairs for breakfast: diy s'more dessert bar

Today's éclairs for breakfast is a delicious diy s'more dessert bar designed by the lovely Erin of Dandelion and Grey. This dessert bar was designed with the idea that it could be easily recreated for a rehearsal dinner, a backyard wedding or wedding dessert bar (and for Postcards and Pretties). 

On a rustic sideboard Erin styled all of the s'more ingredients... marshmallows and graham crackers in wire baskets, wooden skewers in a vintage glass jar (for the marshmallow toasting) and a selection of different chocolate varieties on a ceramic platter. 

For guest favours, Erin created a 'take home' s'more box with all of the ingredients to make one at home, as well as a beautiful summer scarf for those summer nights. 

They look so yummy don't they?

For an 'Australian' s'more try using Cadbury chocolate (instead of Hershey's chocolate) and Digestive biscuits (instead of Graham biscuits).

wedding love: details details details III

This wedding is so cute, country and fun! The details are so lovely and personal. There are goats, farm flowers, colourful flags, home-made signs, chalkboards, sweet badges and stack cakes. My favourite detail is the 'Lucky in Love Pie Contest' where guests brought a baked pie for everyone to enjoy for dessert (and there was a price for the best one).

sunday love: glitz and glam wedding inspiration

This wedding inspiration shoot is so glamorous and pretty. It's combination of a funky colour palette, delicious dessert bar, sweet tablescape and fabulous accessories give it extra glitz! 

Maddy of The Inspired Bride created a glam colour palette of pink, gold, black and white. The delicious dessert bar included a three-tiered wedding cake, mini cupcakes, macarons, popcorn, chocolate and heaps more treats. 

I just adore these details... the heart and initial cookies and the pink lemonade with sequinned stir sticks.

Maddy also incorporated a chalkboard, some funky stationery and a diy fringing backdrop.

The tablescape is so pretty... with its pink and white table runners, white and gold crockery and candlesticks, graphic print napkins and beautiful blooms.

detail love: a farmer's market wedding

I love farmer's markets... being surrounded by beautiful fresh produce, pretty flowers and so many delicious smells. 

This super sweet wedding inspiration shoot was styled by ATrendy Wedding and Holly Chapple Flowers. Inspired by farmer's markets the girls re-created the feel of these markets for a fresh wedding day. Set up on a vintage pick-up truck where crates and barrels filled with fresh fruits, vegetables and pretty flowers. 

Also set up was a beautiful table adorned with delicious home-made style pies, heart shaped scones, fresh fruits and a three-tiered wedding cake for the couple and their guests to enjoy.
