pretty love: a girl scout bridal shower

Here is a pretty dose of something a little different. It is a girl scout themed bridal shower. The bride and her friends added such glam (think Troop Beverly Hills) to the occasion.

As part of the 'Always Be Prepared' invitation, guests were asked to bring a little piece for the bride's wedding day survival kit (tissues, band aids, safety pins etc).

The shower was created from a colour palette of pink, green, white and gold. The tablescape was decorated with green and gold elements, beautiful fresh floral arrangements and girl scout handbooks. A delicious dessert bar was covered in treats that included a two-tiered cake, different flavoured cupcakes and s'mores.

sunday love: mrs smiley's

I recently stumbled across this sweet online store, Mrs Smiley's. Mrs Smiley's hand makes engraved lockets which she describes as 'a true pronouncement of her life, love and happiness'

I have my eye on this cute one...

wedding love: a romantic country wedding

What a romantic and whimsical wedding this is? Married in lavender fields under the afternoon sun, this lovely couple created an organic feeling wedding.

The adorable bride carried a simple bouquet that looked like she had picked it herself the same day. Her bridesmaids carried matching bouquets and wore neutrals and soft green dresses. The groom and groomsmen wore two shades of grey.

A brass band parade entertained guests following their ceremony. Their reception was styled with glass mason jars, delicate white flowers, ceramic vases and printed stationery.

éclairs for breakfast: the little van that could

Today's Éclairs for Breakfast is a little quirky. The Little Van That Could is a super cute retro van that you can hire for just about anything...

The van is available for weddings, birthday parties, tea parties, picnics, cocktail bars and much more. It can serve anything from fairy floss, popcorn, doughnuts, tea, cupcakes, milkshakes or even beer.

This little pastel coloured van could be a sweet addition to any occasion and a fabulous alternative to a dessert bar or traditional dessert.
