Hi everyone. Welcome to the first Sunday Love for the New Year. I thought it would be a fabulous way to start the New Year with something so delicious, a gorgeous milk and cookie bar styled by Love & Lavender.
The girls made all the sweet details themselves.... the homemade wedding cake, the floral bouquets and the stationary, just to name a few.
The cute wedding favours are the ingredients for chocolate chip oatmeal cookies in little milk bottles, with lovely handmade labels and pretty fabric and twine covers.
Their “recipe for love” sign and guest cards cleverly play on the traditional recipe format, explaining how the couple started dating and leaving room for their guests to write a nice note to them for a keepsake.
I just adore the lovely floral napkins with cookie cutters that the girls created for the table setting.
The handmade signs are fabulous, my favourite being the “We go together like Milk and Cookies”.
Mmmm chocolate milk and cookies.... just love it!
The Milk and Cookies theme is so sweet and could be easily adapted for a themed bridal shower, anniversary party or children’s party, etc.
