éclairs for breakfast: a waffle brunch baby shower

This adorable and colourful baby shower was thrown by Emily of Emilie Kate Style + Design for her sister. With a sweet 'waffle brunch' theme, Emily created all of the details herself. 

Emily chose a colour palette of yellow and white that was carried through so many elements including the table setting, the flowers and the favours. 

For the decor the table was set with beautiful linens, bright ceramics, glass bottle vases with simple yellow flowers and colourful mismatched chairs. My favourite feature were the wooden picnic cutlery in printed kraft paper bags. Each guest was given a home-made yellow duck cookie favour to take home. 

Emily and the mum-to-be's family created a delicious brunch spread including bacon and eggs, fruit parfait and doughnuts. The star feature of the brunch was of course the waffles with a selection of toppings to choose from (home-made jam, nutella, bananas, etc).

A blessing tree was set up where family and friends could leave special notes for the parents-to-be.

wedding love: pretty english garden wedding inspiration

Today's English garden wedding inspiration is so sweet and pretty. Every detail is lovely, delicate and feminine.

Inspired by the book 'The Secret Garden' this whimsical country inspiration shoot reflects an old English charm with a tea party feel. I just adore the charming table setting under a fabric canopy with paper flower garlands, gorgeous bouquets, romantic paper goods and vintage tea sets. 

How cute are the little girls? So sweet. Such a beautiful garden inspiration shoot.

sunday love: balloons balloons

When you think of balloons as decorations you often think of the inexpensive balloons you can purchase from your local supermarket. But balloons have come a long way, especially when you see Geronimo Balloons. With the gorgeous colours and different sizes, teamed with fabulous garlands, colourful confetti and a few macarons, balloons may be the perfect decoration for your next event.

pretty love: a day after wedding shoot

A day after wedding shoot is a lovely idea for a couple. It's a great way for the newlyweds to spend time together and reflect on their wedding day, as well as wear their fabulous wedding attire again! 

This gorgeous shoot was styled by the lovely team at Jesi Haack Design. Set in a country wine location, the couple included pretty and vintage details such as a romantic white lace canopy and soft curtains of black lace strips. They also used hanging mason jars and small tin buckets filled with sweet delicate flowers.

wedding love: desert style ranch wedding

This desert ranch wedding is simply gorgeous. The lovely couple were married in the dry desert landscape and were surrounded by big trees, succulents and cactus. The bride wore a princess wedding gown and carried an unique floral bouquet, while the  groom wore a funky pink shirt and suspenders.
