In just a few weeks an amazing couple and our very dear
friends, Lauren and Leigh, are getting married! I am an extremely lucky lady to
be a part of this day, assisting the gorgeous bride to be with the planning and
styling of their big day. I was also very lucky to be able to style their
recent engagement shoot. Lauren and Leigh are truly wonderful, and so very much
in love.
When planning their engagement shoot we all wanted to do something that
really reflected them and included things that are very important to them. We based the shoot around the idea of a day in the life of Lauren and
Leigh. This beautiful couple love antiquing, and have a great eye for detail.
Their home is filled with amazing treasures (some of which we included later in
the shoot). We followed them around their local antique centre, Paddington
Antique Centre. Here they shopped for some new pieces, tested out the
furniture, tried on some fabulous clothing items and just enjoyed each other's
company. Aren't they adorable?
Can you spot the fabulous gems we came across… the vintage cash registers, hats, telephones and my favourite... a The Sound Of Music record.
