éclairs for breakfast: a tea party in a field

This amazing tea party spread looks like the perfect setting to celebrate a bride and her upcoming wedding. With an eco-friendly and budget conscious theme in mind, this bridal shoot was created by the very talented Carissa of JL Designs to inspire all brides-to-be.

Floral designed invitations printed on recycled paper helped set the theme and feel of the bridal shoot. Carissa styled an elegant tablescape complete with delicate crockery, vintage milk bottles and glass vases. Down the centre of the table sat amazing handmade desserts by Melody of the Sweet and Saucy Shop. Melody created a simple two tiered cake decorated with a buttercream icing, giving it a homemade feel. She also baked delicious sugar encrusted cupcakes, key lime pies, delicate wafers and madeline cookies all sitting on green and white cakeplates. Gorgeous fresh yellow flowers like tulips, lisianthus and ranunculas also adorned the table and were featured in the bouquets. Carissa also created very beautiful and eco-friendly bouquet made out of balsa wood flowers, a bouquet you can keep forever.
