We hope you enjoyed Part 1 of this gorgeous vintage garden wedding Our Love In October styled last October.
For Lauren and Leigh's reception, we incorporated many of their personal items including beautiful vintage finds from Lauren's collection at home, her collection of owls, photographs of the couple and wine bottles collected from their special occasions and dates. We created stunning walls of coloured hanging bottles (clear, brown and green) and blooms, tied together with string.
We also styled sweet seating areas indoors and outdoors using vintage hired furniture from Little Gray Station. There were big farmhouse tables, small vintage tables and quirky lounges and armchairs. There was also more than 70 vintage chairs which Lauren and her Mum sourced themselves. Adorning the tables and mantel were fresh flowers from the markets in glass vases, bottles, jugs and crates along with handmade candles and vintage books.
Lauren and Leigh chose to be married in the garden of Lauren's grandparents home. They were married underneath a magnolia tree that Lauren's grandparents planted when she was born.
Lauren and Leigh wanted a market style feel for their reception. They chose to have delicious, relaxed food and drinks for their guests including a wood-fired pizza stand, a paella stand, a salads table, roaming canapes and desserts and lots to drink at the bar! Everyone enjoyed cocktails in mason glass jars with stripy straws, each with its very own character name.
The speeches were fabulous. So many laughs and happy tears!
Thank you so much to Lauren and Leigh for allowing me to be apart of not only their very special day but also their engagement and the journey to plan the wedding. I will forever be grateful and love you guys.
